BAND
CLASSES & MUSIC WORKSHOPS
What
began as a Summer Jazz Workshop for young
musicians in 1998 has blossomed into three
full Big Band Jazz Ensembles for students
in grades six through twelve. Each Band
meets once per week in 1½ hour
rehearsals and they perform in local "Monthly
Grind" Programs and in formal concerts
each semester. Summer Music Workshops
have been offered
in Jazz (1998-2002) and a Youth Concert
Band in 2003, 2004, and 2005.
